A note from the owners of The Sassy Biscuit:
I’m Jilan Hall-Johnson, the brains behind The Sassy Biscuit Co. What started as a silly idea of making biscuit waffles for my kids suddenly blossomed into a unique food venture that we invite you to come and check out.
My husband, DeMarco Johnson is the muscle behind the vision and a great support.
We are passionate about family, friends and great food.
Married after meeting and graduating from culinary art school, DeMarco’s military commitment enabled our family to travel across the country from east to west coast, giving us the opportunity to sample and savor the best cuisine in regional restaurants. Over the years we’ve found good food has a good experience behind it.
“We want people to experience our life through our food…so we’ve picked up little pieces of the country along the way and transformed them into something magnificent.”
Drawing on my culinary expertise and graduate degree in counseling, I’m digging deep, going back to my roots bringing folks back together through food! I love cooking, and I’ve incorporated recipes and techniques from my childhood to present day to share a little bit of who I am with everyone.
When you dine with us, you’re more than a guest – you’re family.
Come on in, we’d love to serve you!
